Over a three-day period in May 2024, team members explored the interactions between elastin peptides and reconstituted lipid membranes using synchrotron radiation circular dichroism spectroscopy. This work was carried out as part of the PELICAN thesis project.

This project, entitled "Modelling of vascular microstructures evolution from very high-resolution synchrotron imaging — Normal vs accelerated aging prediction" is led by Pr. Laurent Debelle (MIME team) and is based on a partnership between our research unit, the SOLEIL ANATOMIX synchotron, the CReSTIC/LICIIS/LMR laboratories at URCA and the LIST3N/GAMMA3 laboratories at UTT.

The Antithesis is an opportunity to exchange with PhD students in bioinformatics from the MIME team who will present the study of a key protein in aging, at different scales and using different methods, as well as the job of a PhD student.
